This spacious brick bungalow has been fully updated to offer living spaces for you to visit with your family and friends, as well as private spaces that are perfect for you to relax and take it easy. As you swing on the front porch, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Columbus' Historic District, while knowing you are a quick walk away from wonderful restaurants and shops. Various amenities, including items for young children, are always available to guests of the Historic Finch!

This historic home is beautiful. The hosts decorated it well and included little things to make our stay comfortable and easy. Our hosts are good communicators. This home is a half mile from Uptown where the Friday Night Concert series was happening along the Chattahoochee River, the Saturday Market, Columbia University, as well as the convention center. We felt so comfortable here that the next time we're in town, we will book with them again.
Book this gem! Pictures just don’t do it justice. The house is so charming and comfortable while also so close to restaurants and entertainment. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back!
The historic Finch was a wonderful home away from home for our family while visiting our son at Fort Moore! The house was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and all within an easy walk of shops and restaurants. The accommodations were great for the five of us and we loved having the extra office space too. We loved sitting out front on the porch swing and we even met some friendly neighbors walking by! All in all a wonderful place to stay in Columbus. Highly recommend!

The Historic Finch was a wonderful and welcoming place to stay. The home was comfortable with great space to socialize and rest. Close to wonderful downtown Columbus attractions all within walking distance. John and Kayla were wonderfully responsive and helpful for our entire stay. I highly recommend you book your stay with them!

As the name states, the “Historic Finch" is located in the Historic District of Uptown Columbus and is within walking distance to several options for dining, shopping and entertainment. The home is also less than two blocks from the RiverCenter and Springer Opera House.
Free parking is available in the driveway and on the street at the Historic Finch. It is common to see locals walking and riding bikes along the sidewalks nearby, as there are many places to visit in the Uptown Columbus area. Shall you need transportation, ridesharing services are typically available for drop-off and pick-up at the home.

Hi there! We are John & Kayla! We grew up in Columbus, went away for college, and moved back to the area in 2021. We now live in Harris County with our baby boy, two dogs, and 19 chickens. John works remotely as a software engineer, and Kayla is a stay-at-home-mom. In our spare time, we enjoy tending to our garden, renovating our 100-year-old farm house, visiting Pine Mountain, and exploring new things in the community.
