A Victorian-style home tucked away on one and a half acres in the Historic Village of Rugby, bordering on protected lands and the Big South Fork National Park. Nature awaits just out the back door, and wildlife can often be seen from the wrap-around porch. The home is easy walking distance to the Clear Fork and White Oak Rivers, as well as the Village of Rugby. The home is located down a gravel, rarely traveled road. The wrap-around, covered porch offers ample opportunity to enjoy the sounds of nature, rain or shine, while looking out over the south end of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. IT'S REMOTE! You'll want to bring in your groceries and your libations. There is a food truck in the Village and local general store, but both have very limited days and hours. Plan to bring everything you need and want! The house has a fully stocked kitchen, puzzles and games, dining area, books, and surprisingly good fiber internet. There is not a TV, so bring your own device if you plan on streaming. Cell service can be spotty, so there is a landline for emergency calls, and we recommend enabling wi-fi calling. The Village of Rugby also has village-wide wi-fi! The house most comfortably sleeps 4, but can accommodate 2 more with use of the living room couch and inflatable twin mattress.
