Host was absolutely terrible. The price was not worth the space. There was no heat or hot water despite paying almost $400 for two nights. When we got there the door was open, floors were sticky, shower was dirty, and blinds in the bathroom were broken. The host did NOT disclosing that he and his family lived above the rental. This included 3 boys who were running above us and yelling. We would not have booked knowing this information due to wanting a peaceful visit to MD. After we drove 7 hours to the location the host was inconsiderate and refused to give a refund and lied about canceling another’s booking to book us. We booked the day of and he said he had someone booked for 5 days… we had to contact support 3 times to get a resolution. Then the host continued to lie saying we broke things in the space despite not even being there for 20 minutes. Terrible host, rude, and spoke over me when trying to explain the situation. The place did not have a safe way to lock the door either…
