Our secluded mountaintop location boasts long-range views of the VA mountain line while only minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, downtown Danbury, and a variety of local tubing/kayaking options. Spend the day on river or at the park and return to this private setting in time for sunset, porch supers, and evenings by the fire. Our three bedroom/two bathroom cottage sits at the top of the hill opposite Hanging Rock giving us long range views of the Virginia mountain line (on clear days). Although an easy drive up on paved road, our property is mostly secluded. Our spacious front porch includes a dining table for 6 as well as chairs to sit and enjoy the breeze and view. The front living area includes a picture window view of the porch/mountain view, sofa, chairs, and ottoman along with a ROKU TV, DVD player, games, DVDs, books, and binoculars. The full service eat-in kitchen includes an induction/convection range and the necessary small appliances along with starter coffee/tea, paper towels, and soap. The dining area seats 6. A full laundry/mud room area sits outside the lower bathroom which includes a Clawfoot tub and walk-thru closet. The lower master bedroom can be accessed thru this closet or a main doorway located in the living area. This bedroom includes a king size bed/linens and picture window to the porch/view. The two remaining bedrooms are on the second level and include a full bed/dresser/linens and two twins/linens. The upper bath includes a walk-in tile shower with a view.
