Charming bungalow in a great location, a few blocks from Wash park. High vaulted ceilings with plenty of light, and a nice fenced in backyard to enjoy in the beautiful weather. The host responded immediately to any questions.

The location is great: just a few blocks to Wash Park and a coffee shop. But the lock is “tricky,” sometimes taking 5-10 minutes to get in the house or lock behind you. It’s a cute old house that doesn’t feel quite ready for guests. The 2nd bedroom has sheer curtains, so you cannot change clothes or have any privacy. The 3rd bedroom is in an unfinished basement; the room itself is decorated, but the basement isn’t inviting. There are cobwebs and bugs in the stairwell. Overall, the cleanliness was questionable: a dirty towel in the microwave, crumbs in the fridge, pellets of some kind (dog treats? Cereal?) on the floor—and a grimy bathroom (smeared toothpaste inside the medicine cabinet, hairs on the walls, tangle of hair on the “clean” towel and shelf of the bathroom closet, dirty drawers.) One contact number never responded. The second did two hours later, and did bring a hairdryer. But ignored concerns about cleanliness. Pro: washing machine. Con: Empty detergent bottles on shelf

Wonderful house just a couple of blocks from Wash park. Very cute street with easy street parking and a lovely little back yard. We loved our daily walks to the park.
