A route along the water’s edge to Blyth (10 miles) is a rewarding walk that can be completed in a few hours. With your pets on their lead, you can also explore the fabulous city centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (8.5 miles), dropping in for refreshments at several pet-friendly pubs throughout the day.
