We are in an area of preserved natural beauty on the edge of a sleepy town surrounded by trees. Our barn, built in the 18th Century, is one of the oldest buildings in the village. We have lovingly restored it to offer a relaxing vacation. This romantic getaway provides time, space, and peace. You have N°9 to yourselves. Step into the ground floor of our barn, where you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom complete with a large shower. The upstairs is a walkthrough living and bedroom area with tranquil and calming decorations, a comfortable double bed, and a relaxing seating area. If you need it, there is a workspace with excellent wifi to catch up on correspondence. Your outside space is a courtyard; you have a loveseat, dining area, and BBQ space. We do live on site, yet the barn is entirely separate from our home, giving you a private and relaxing space to unwind. We are situated between all the beau villages in the correze and The Lot. You are minutes from the hustle and bustle of the market towns Biars Sur Cere, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Saint Cere, Loubressac, Autoire and a little further afield, Rocamador, Collonges la Rouge, Meyssac, Turenne, Gramat Aurillac and Martel. Exploring these medieval villages is an inspiring journey through the historical heart of the region. You can enjoy the lively villages and then head home to the calm of No 9. We have a train service which will take you as far as Brive or Aurillac and drop you back to No9 in time for the evening Apero. We're fortunate to have access to many fantastic restaurants nearby, with options to suit every taste. We can provide recommendations tailored to your preferences, from renowned establishments to hidden gems. Additionally, there's a Michelin-starred restaurant just a 10-minute drive away. Just to remind you, reservations are essential to secure your table.
