Julia is very helpful from the start when we got there she helped us with some frozen pizzas that we had brought because it stated there was a pizza oven and it was outside so she took them for us and then to us. She was accommodating with one extra person and brought down a cot. She opened up the hot tub for us. It was very peaceful and easy to hang out me and my girlfriend met there from three different locations and had appetizers. We Watched a movie and sat outside by the fire table, we went into the hot tub, so amazing It was a great evening. She asked us what time she would bring breakfast, she broughtus the most amazing breakfast. We recommend this place if you want to get away to a peaceful Minnesota surrounding with super kind Minnesota family.

Julie and her hubby were amazing hosts… They went above and beyond for us. Like not only did they provide breakfast but the night before, when we were dumb to bring frozen pizzas for the brick oven they delicately expressed concern for the pizzas baking outcome and worked with us (so we didn’t go hungry) by interrupting their Saturday night to bake them in their own kitchen. They even let us book a last minute room the night of for unexpected guests since there was vacancy. Wonderful people, hosts and home any way you look at it. We will be back if I have anything to say about it.

I stayed at Julie's place in mid-october. Loved the location so close to Sakatah Lake State Park. It was a absolutely beautiful with the golden fall leaves! My stay was during the week and I ended up with the place to myself, so I'm not sure how it would be with other guests. Also, there is only a curtain between the upstairs and downstairs so you occasionally hear some upstairs noise, but that wasn't a big issue. Overall a nice place to stay and I hope to return!

Julie's air bnb was a welcome relief from the hectic sport event we had been attending in a nearby town. A quiet place with plenty of birdsong outside and attractive spaces indoors. My husband enjoyed the chance to run in the country and breathe fresh air. She made sure we understood the workings of the satellite dish. Anything that relies on a signal can be iffy in the country, but we can watch t.v. and be online at home, anyway. The breakfast she served was just lovely and satisfying. We hve been to 5 air bnbs in October because of family obligations, and this one is at the top of the list!
