There is a top-loading washing machine in the utility cupboard off the lounge, and a heated clothes airer in the cupboard under the stairs. Bathroom: With small bath, basin and shower cubicle with electric shower. Steep stairs lead to: Bedroom One: Double bed, bedside tables, dresser, TV. Built-in wardrobe. The stairs at Briar Cottage are quite steep. There are handrails on both sides, but care should be taken when going up and down the stairs. About Westleton Westleton is a charming Suffolk village located just a few minutes off the A12, the main road from Lowestoft to Ipswich, making it the ideal based from which to explore the Suffolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its sits between the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, both of which are approximately 9-miles away.
