There is ample space inside and out, parking for three or four cars, and several walking trails, including Place Fell, the Helvellyn Range, and the low-level lakeshore walk to Howtown. The ground floor, which spans two floors, consists of two double bedrooms with views of the river and fells, a modern kitchen perfect for cooking a meal for the family (unless you plan to walk to the local pubs), and a spacious open-plan living and dining area with panoramic windows. On the chiller nights, light the lovely open fire or slide open the large patio door on the warmer days to use the patio that overlooks the river. Also on the ground floor is the first of two bathrooms comprising a shower cubicle, toilet, and basin.
