Macs Mountain Retreat is a perfect get-a-way location for a large group. Beautiful scenery, perfect amenities for gatherings of friends with a hot tub, fire pit, game room and spacious living. We spent the weekend with a group of twelve, and had more than enough room. Thomas is an excellent host that is quick to respond to your messages. We will definitely be staying here again.

Just the right amount of room for our group of 16. The place keeps you busy without having to go anywhere - plenty of entertainment (got lots of use out of the game room and hot tub). Good deal for all you get! Would stay again with a big group.

This home was perfect for our large group of women! It was secluded and beautiful, but still within easy driving distance of local amenities. We enjoyed Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Nantahala.

We had a great family reunion with plenty of space and things to do for all ages. The large deck and seating was great. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very clean. I would recommend replacing the roll away bed. It was broken and unusable. It would also be good to add more white towels for the hot tube. Luckily we brought our own. Overall it is a great home to spend time with family and just relax in. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! This cabin was perfect for our family gathering of 14 adults/3 kids. Whether we were on the patio, in the basement, or on the main level there was plenty of room and ample seating for all of us to be together. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need - crockpot, air fryer, griddle, pots/pans of all sizes, you name it. Hot tub was very clean and nice. Highly recommend this cabin!
