The small town of Röbel/Müritz as a recognized resort is located directly on the west bank of the Müritz and is embedded in a slightly hilly landscape. It is characterized by the charming old town with its many restored half-timbered houses in the tranquil ring alleys, the two imposing early Gothic church towers and the beautiful waterfront promenade at the town harbour. There you will find passenger boat moorings, restaurants, cafés and a modern waterway rest area. The many boathouses, some of which are thatched, give Röbel a very individual, maritime flair. You can swim in either the outdoor pool or the fun and sports pool in the Müritztherme. The popular Müritz cycle route in the direction of the Müritz National Park leads directly through Röbel, and with the Müritz National Park ticket you can also use the passenger boat service.
