I was very happy with my stay. Maverick is a warm and welcoming host. His wife Amelia is also lovely, and we had a great time chatting. She also gave me lots of delicious snacks, and made a beautiful breakfast for me in the morning. They are good people. Even the neighbors downstairs were friendly! Overall, a very welcoming place to be, which is valuable for any traveler. The room is painted a beautiful soft pink, which creates a sense of comfort and peace and freshness. It is neat and clean, and has a nice desk and table where you can organize yourself. There are also nice teas available, and even a hot water kettle in the room. I loved it there, and would have been happy to spend more time in the space, and with my lovely hosts (and their neighbors 🤣).

Maverick’s place is in a lovely spot, just a quick bus ride away from downtown Flushing. He was very helpful and responsive, and generously surprised us with tea and goodies in the room. Thank you again for a great visit!
