There are many wonderful walks to explore too, straight from your door-step, as well as the 'Offa's Dyke' path which can be joined in Montgomery, just 2 miles away. Montgomery is a small 'Royal Charter' Town with a delightful array of artisan independent shops, including a delicatessen, art gallery and book-shop, as well as a small Farmers' Market on Thursdays and Saturdays.
