The house is great, it’s comfortable, well equipped and warm. However there is a pack of working dogs (15) that are kept in a barn, in the yard which the house overlooks, they’re lovely dogs, but they bark almost constantly and start about 5am with barking and howling. If you don’t mind that, then it’s a great place to stay with lovely views and red kites flying from the tree opposite, but if you do be aware, we did!

Excellent house as advertised with a great lounge space and good sized rooms. Heating system quick and responsive. Fantastic value for money and brilliant views from the lounge

Lovely rural location with great views but also very convenient for our work at Powis Castle. The house was very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. We loved being next door to the dogs but light sleepers might find it an issue. Don't follow the Airbnb instructions for navigation as it takes you too far.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pandey Barn. Beautiful cottage with great facilities, stunning views, very accommodating host and extremely cute and friendly dogs! One word of advice: earplugs for the early morning howl-along chorus are advisable if you’re a light sleeper! 🐕🐕🐕🐕😂
