the bathroom, while private, was detached from my room. the living room and kitchen are a common space for everyone living/staying there. the walls are very very thin. the owners sent me a message midway that they were doing a mandatory maintenance inspection of my room while I was staying there. no real explanation and I wasn't happy that someone was going into my space where all of my belongings were.

Here are some negatives before I get into the positives: I immediately noticed that the walls are too thin, I was able to hear people enter the main door and I was at the very top of the building. My neighbors were loud with loud tv's late at night and loud laughing, that's for my floor and the one below me. One day entering the kitchen, an unleashed dog was barking at me and was trying to jump up on me. I think there should be a leash rule. Here are some positives: the hosts were very responsive and I would get a text back within 10-15 minutes. They were also very polite, they were not rude in any way shape or form. The location of the building is perfect, the area is not too far from downtown and not too within the neighborhoods. There are a lot of nearby hills to get a good run in and the neighborhood was a pretty sight for a walk. The rooms are also very clean. This place is beautiful and my overall stay was okay, I was just booked with other people that made the stay sort of bleh.
