Just returned home from a fantastic week at the old post office the cottage was idyllic and in a great location for the beach. James and Jody were spot on with communication and recommendations of places to visit. The house was very clean we would highly recommend staying there if you’re wanting a gem in Gwithian.

Das Haus von Jody und James liegt mitten im kleinen Dorf Gwithian. In nur 5 Minuten über eine Düne sind der traumhafte Surfer-Strand und der South West Coast Path zu erreichen. Auf diesem wunderschönen Wanderweg um die Küste Cornwalls kann man stundenlang spazieren gehen und in nördlicher Richtung sogar Robben beobachten. In der Nähe vom Haus gibt es einen Pub mit gutem Essen und tollen lokalen Bieren. Das Haus von Jody und James ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hervorragend ausgestattet. Jody und James sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit frischen Blumen und Wein begrüßt. Holz für den Kamin war ausreichend vorhanden und Nachschub wurde von James später angeboten. We concluded that it was the most comfortable place we have ever stayed in. Really well equipped, a real home from home. We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at the Old Post Office was as lovely as the first (same time last year). Its so cosy, clean, has everything you need and is in a great location for walks or drives out to explore. We love the bay and will almost certainly be back again. Thanks so much to our hosts James and Jody for being flexible and also the birthday flowers and wine. Much appreciated and enjoyed. P.S. If you could just sort out the Cornwall weather in March, that would be the cherry on top! :)
