Our stay at Darren's "rustic cabin" was so great. Darren was a very welcome host and made us feel right at home. The lake is beautiful, warm, and very quiet - we were often the only people on the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and was cozy but perfect for the size we needed. This location is definitely a hidden gem - we would highly recommend staying there.

Fantastic. My husband and I are doing a Beautiful BC via BMWs this summer and this little cabin was wonderful. Make no mistake it feels,smells,and looks like a rustic cabin and so it should,Darren said it was built in 1905. How COOL is that. We tried to imagine what this little cabin would have seen and heard as we sat on the dock and took in the fantastic scenery and ate dinner in the quaint little stone tiled sitting area . The new bathroom is very nice, bed, kitchen and BBQ is great. We will be back. And thank you again Darren and your wife for a fantastic get away .

Just like the other reviews on here, I agree the photos don't do it justice. Great host, great location with all the amenities you need, while still being rustic.

Let me start of by saying that if you are having any doubts that this is the cabin for you stop. Not only is the cabin amazingly comfortable and cozy Darren was absolutely amazing. When we first arrived (2 hours late, sorry Darren!) we were greeted with a fire and an immediate invite to a bonfire a few houses down. Immediately we were sold. Things only got better when the next morning (we arrived at night) we awoke to the most picturesque view. A thick fog slowly fading off of the lake. Basically we spent half our time there planning our next trip back. 10/10 would go back again!!

The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice. A stunning location with a incredible host. Absolutely serene with picturesque scenery. A hidden Gem. We will be back.
