We absolutely loved our stay at Harvest and Dave’s. We were greeted with a delicious homemade cake plus some lovely gifts. We loved the wildness of the setting and how easy it was to get to the coast. It is indeed a special place, thank you - we will be back!

Beautiful cozy exceptionally clean cottage in quiet surroundings. We received informative welcoming instructions prior to arriving and the excellent instructions from Harvest enabled us to find the property as it was off the beaten track. The homemade Victoria sponge and marmalade as welcome gifts were delicious. We saw Harvest briefly when we arrived and she came to see us as we were leaving. Had we needed her for anything we could have easily contacted her. Overall we would definitely recommend this cottage as an ideal place to stay as a base for exploring the Northumberland coastline (Holy Island Lindisfarne is a must!) and for all the amenities it offer..

Our stay was just what we needed. A space to relax and natter away from the World of hectic life. Harvest was such a friendly host, as was Dave. They were there if needed but left us alone. Returning is definitely an option as we had so much fun walking and laughing. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely quiet location within a short drive to the coast and landmarks. Woodpecker cottage is spacious, warm, clean, and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Complimentary ale, homemade cake and marmalade on arrival was an extra special touch. The hosts are attentive, warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend a visit, and we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location, short drive to beaches, beautiful countryside and historic sites. Warm welcome to a truly beautiful cottage set in an idyllic setting. The hosts consideration of their guests needs with welcome home baking, suggestions where to visit and walk, whilst mindful of our privacy, was appreciated. A cottage we hope to visit again.
