Het was fantastisch! Yvette en zo ook haar echtgenoot waren beide super vriendelijk! We werden hartelijk ontvangen met kokosnoot en rietje, in de ochtend altijd iets lekkers. Kortom ‘héle lieve attente mensen’. Huisje was heel sfeervol tussen het groen. Het was lekker rustig en vertrouwd. Een aanrader!

Ivette and Javier truly are super hosts, sweet, responsive, friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel at home, they gave us great recommendations on places to eat and visit. The apartment is extremely beautiful with a view of the volcano, a lush garden, a great pool and a hot tub. It is even bigger than it looks. You'll see Toucans outside and many other birds! The location is an easy 25 minute walk to downtown or a 5 minute ride. Ubers/Taxis to and from the location were easy and cheap, and if you don't want to go downtown there are many restaurants and tours near the airbnb. It is located between downtown and the Arenal Volcano tour and Mistico hanging bridge. It is a short ride to the free El Choyin hot springs (and many other paid ones) and a few minutes walk to the free El Salto swimming spot. We honestly didn't want to leave once we were there. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. They really made us feel the pura vida vibes! Highly, highly recommended.
