Val is a wonderful and helpful host. The place is just as described in the listing. She met our water taxi herself and drove us to the house. When we had a family emergency and needed to leave early, Val was very helpful and understanding. Highly recommend.

My partner and I loved our week at Val's place. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and full of flowers. Waking up and having breakfast on the deck with the sweeping views was wonderful. Don't forget to walk around the porch to watch the hummingbirds and other birds fly amidst the flowers. The place is spacious, has wifi that supported my partner's work and zoom calls from the living room, the bedroom a/c works great, and the showers were relaxing. Unlike most Airbnbs I've stayed at near beaches, Val has tons of towels for beach use, which was so helpful. Val is also a wonderful host, always available with helpful info and directions ahead of time and during our stay whenever needed. There was easy parking for our rental car, which I would recommend if you want to do more than just Rodney Bay. We would definitely return!

I often visit Saint Lucia to see my family and friends. I'm glad that I found Val's listing, as I will definitely be returning. Ms. Val is a gracious host, and her place is lovely. It's in the perfect location and truly feels like a home away from home. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Ms. Val. I hope to see you again soon! 💕

It's rare that we would do a full review of a place we've stayed, but Val's place deserves it. Firstly Val is a really good host. Thoughful, welcoming and full of good suggestions from restaurants to places to visit and taxi drivers to use. Secondly, the villa is fantastic. Clean, bright and almost palatial (certainly for 2 people). The view from the terrace is wonderful and the bed is incredibly comfy. Finally the location is private, but close to all the amenities of Rodney Bay and Gros Islet. The villa is up a hill (hence the good view) so we probably would recommend hiring a car or getting taxis. Overall a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

Although Val warned us that the location was different than what was shown on Airbnb, I hadn't appreciated that it was as hilly as it was. This meant that we needed more taxis than we planned (we weren't comfortable renting a car because the roads had lots of hairpin turns). The view in the photos should have given me a clue. The views were stunning and the veranda was very comfortable. We had an emergency that required one of us to be admitted to hospital. Val, even though she was away on her own holiday, kept in regular touch with us and Tricia, the housekeeper, also kept tabs on us, sending her sister who worked at the hospital, to visit. The taxi drivers also were very helpful during our crisis. All in all, Val and her team could not have done more to make us feel safe and secure in our time of need. Oh! And the house was roomy, airy, clean and charmingly decorated.
