The most elegant room, THE STONECROFT, of our 1807 House is furnished with handmade tiger maple reproductions, a canopied KING pencil post bed & chest-on-frame. Let the wrap-around hand-painted mural transport you back to the 19th century. Additional features include a wood-burning fireplace (Oct 1 - April 30), writing desk, overstuffed chair, & a private bath. (There are no TVs in the 1807 House). This room is accessed by a steep, narrow staircase that can be a little challenging to climb. THE STONECROFT ROOM IS LOCATED IN THE 1807 HOUSE AT THE STONECROFT COUNTRY INN.
