自我介绍

I was born in the heart of Europe in the foothills of the High Tatras mountains (also known as the small Alps). This is a pristine country called Slovakia (or Slovak Republic), with beautiful nature and a rich history. I was born just few miles from the ruins of the Spiš Castle (Slovak: Spišský hrad) in eastern Slovakia, one of the largest castle sites in Central Europe, in town called Levoca. The town of Levoca has a historic center with a well preserved town wall, a Gothic church, with the highest wooden altar in the world - carved by Master Pavol of Levoča, and many other Renaissance buildings. Both Spis Castle and Levoca are worth a visit because they are listed as world heritage sites - protected by UNESCO. Beside Slovakia, I lived in the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Holland and Austria before moving to USA in 2000. I settled down just outside of the US capital, Washington DC, in Northern Virginia. Being in charge of my own working schedule and living close to an international airport it become fairly easy to take adventurous trips and explore many beautiful places. Later, I followed the sun to the Florida’s calm beaches on the Gulf of Mexico side, in the nice town of Naples. Even though the USA - Northern Virginia and Southwest Florida - became my home; the food & deserts made from scratch, beautiful nature, and rich culture of Europe remain very dear to my heart. However, there is more than just North America and Europe. There is so much to experience on every continent, in every country. Do not be afraid to hit the road and step outside of your comfort zone. Do not keep postponing traveling leaving the enjoyment of your life to the fullest for later, because there may not be a later. There are things to see and something good to learn from every person you may meet on your trip. Yes unexpected things may happen while traveling but most of the time the memories you gain, the way it widen your horizons, and the way your mind clears up is worth that risk. It is OK to be exposed to the unknown. So spread your wings and give your self the OK to hit the road. Leave those everyday worry behind. Not to worry, they are loyal, and will be there when you get back :) Get on plane or in the car. The taste of freedom is priceless. Looking forward to see you soon.
