This place met my most important criteria in that it was completely clean. There was nothing that made me uncomfortable, and I really appreciated that. The bed was comfortable. My husband slept better on it than on our bed at home! The location was very good for everything we wanted to do, and we enjoyed being in the country. The surroundings are very peaceful. Torch Lake and Lake Michigan are super close. Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Traverse City are easy drives. The area is an expensive area to stay in, so I think this apartment was a good value. It was completely private. We never saw the host, but she quickly responded when I messaged her. This isn’t a stand alone unit, so guests should expect to hear a little noise from the house, but the host family is not loud. We really only heard foot traffic in the morning. My only suggestion would be to get better lighting in the living room area and especially in the bathroom. Minor issue, though, in a good stay. Many thanks!

Great quiet and private spot to rest after long days of fun and exploring! Michelle was responsive, friendly and we were so happy to chat with her in person. Space was as advertised and we will definitely return. Thanks for welcoming us to your home!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the right place. On a quiet country road between Charlevoix and torch lake, it’s a great location. We also enjoyed riding our bicycles on the quiet hilly roads surrounding.

Michelle was fabulous. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Just minutes from the north end of Torch Lake, the Eastport Market, and Torch Lake Cafe.
