One of the most iconic buildings in Kersey, the Grade II listed River House is situated beside 'the splash', the charming ford that gives the property its name. With its impressive sixteenth century front porch, River House impresses from first glance. Once inside, the welcoming atmosphere and of the property is accentuated by the sympathetic restoration that highlights its period features while at the same time offering guests a supremely comfortable and practical stay. With its enormous inglenook fireplaces, welcoming woodburners, wood-panelled dining room, flagstone flooring and beautifully preserved exposed beams, River House is a supremely comfortable stay in a slice of history.
