Escape to Hill View, a secluded cottage in historic Suffolk. Private garden, cozy log burner, and luxurious rolltop bath await. Ideal for 4 adults & 2 children with 2 king size bedrooms and a bunk bedroom, plus an infant cot. Fully equipped range kitchen, dining room, and spacious lounge. Tranquil decking with hammock & BBQ. Games room with table football & PlayStation. En-suite shower, blissful rolltop bath. Pets welcome. The first thing you notice about Hill View is the garden, perfect for relaxing on the decking in the hammock, or on the large lawn next to the fruit trees (pear, apple, peach, and plum)! The master bedroom is located on the ground floor, featuring a king sized bed with step free access to the outside (although there is a step up into the kitchen) and ensuite wc/shower room. The second bedroom is upstairs, also featuring a king sized bed, and is next door to the colourful third bedroom with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have blackout curtains and secondary blinds. The family bathroom holds a large rolltop bath and separate shower. Downstairs the lounge boasts a log burner and roku TV, whilst the dining room holds a refectory style dining table to seat up to 8. The kitchen is well equipped with a 5 hob electric range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, crepe maker, and all the essentials, whilst the utility room has a washing machine, iron & ironing board, and drying rack. Returning outside, the garden room is air conditioned, and is a perfect distraction particularly if there is poor weather, with table football, jigsaws, toys, and a PlayStation Classic.

had a brilliant bank holiday stay with our family and dog. would highly recommend anyone looking to book. we had family come and visit over the weekend and all enjoyed the incredible garden. Beautiful property, beautiful location. highly recommend and will be staying again!
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Lovely and clean with everything you need. The beds were lovely and comfortable, and the set up was perfect for children. We walked the footpath out of the gate at the bottom of the garden, which was lovely. And went to the local pub (which had an enjoyable music bingo night on). Our little one enjoyed riding her bike in the private gated driveway, and playing in the games room! And mud kitchen. She also loved having a bunk bed!! Steve and Camilla were great hosts, very responsive and accommodating. We had a lovely stay - thank you!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hill View, thank you. It was a much needed trip away to relax and spend time together as a family and it ticked all the boxes. We were really lucky with the weather and very much enjoyed the beautiful garden. Really comfortable living and sleeping arrangements. My parents are a less mobile these days so having the ground floor en-suit bedroom for them was absolutely perfect and we hope to book to come again for another restful break. Thank you!
This property has everything you'll need to relax and cook for yourself. the couches in front of the wooden fire place and big TV are so comfortable. it's lovely having two bathrooms and multiple bedrooms to choose from. I was able to check in earlier than expected which was nice too and made the stay better. Safe and secure parking out the back.
We had a great time staying at Hill View. It's a perfect house for a family stay. Our 5 year-old daughter was really excited to have a holiday house with a bunk bed for her! It's really nice to find a holiday place with toys, because we never have enough space in the car to bring many. The garden is a really nice space too.

Beautiful countryside walks, a number of lovely local pubs in walking distance serving food and real ales (Swan Inn in Monks Eleigh, The Peacock in Chelsworth, The Six Bells in Preston St Mary, The Rose in Lindsey... all dog friendly!)
Free parking is available on the large drive for up to three cars.
