Stylish & spacious vaulted barn. Separate from main house with plenty of light & incredible views. Peaceful setting nestled in the Hampshire countryside on the boarder of Surrey, 10 mins from the market town of Farnham and 5 mins from Crondall village. 20mins drive from Farnborough Air show. King size double bed with en-suite rain shower. Kitchen unit with sink, fridge, combination oven/microwave & large workspace. Central heating & WiFi The Lookout has a King Sized bed and good quality mattress in a generous studio space with vaulted ceilings. The bedding is fresh white cotton. The sitting area has one armchair but if two guests are staying a second armchair will be there. There is a generous old English pine farmhouse table with two chairs and lots of space for working or eating meals. There isn’t yet a television on the wall as we were not sure whether this is something guest will want as we imagine guest staying will use their iPads or read but will be open to reviews on this. The WiFi is excellent. The luxury en suite has a rainfall shower and hot water is plentiful as The Lookout has its only boiler. The building is incredibly well insulated and has radiators with wide solid oak flooring with tiles in the bathroom. The kitchen is a free standing unit with sink, small combination oven & fridge all built in so to be discreet and not feel cluttered. There are two gas hobs, kettle and toaster with coffee making caffetire, glassware, china, cutlery, salad bowl and enough kitchen equipment to whip up a cooked breakfast or evening meal for two. There are a selection of teas and coffee. GUEST ACCESS The Lookout is located at the end of a quiet private drive with access onto Hamspshire footpaths without walking on roads. There is a gravel drive to the left of the main house and parking is outside the barn itself. The location is so peaceful and the owls can be heard at night from the nearby trees. We are a family who live in the main house and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area but also the ease of being able to hop in the car and drive 10 mins to the market town of Farnham. Farnham has a GAILS, WATERSTONES, WHISTLES, JIGSAW, WAITROSE, SPACENK, BILLS, BOOTS, THE WHITE COMPANY, COTE, GIGGLING SQUID & Mandy independent gift shops & cafes. Parking in the Upper Hart car park via the country lanes to avoid traffic in no more than 10 mins from The Lookout. Walk through Lion & Lamb yard cobbled lane and round onto the high street, walking up Castle street with the Georgian buildings and enjoy Farnham Deer Park which is a 200 acre park with Farnham Castle. Or stay local and walk to Crondal village which is 20mins from The Lookout and enjoy a coffee or toastie at THE CELLAR DOOR which is on Pencroft Winery. Here you can get the best cakes produced at Old Basing bakery which is a renowned bakery in Hampshire. Or stroll down for a cheeseboard & cold meat board in the evening and a glass of the local wine. THE CELLAR DOOR is open from 9-5pm from Wednesday to Sunday (closed Mon & Tues).
