My partner and I came downstate just for one night for a Concert at Majestic Theater. It was NFL Draft weekend so it was close to impossible to find a place to stay. This spot was perfect for us! Sauna, gym & hot tub available for use. Quiet hosts. Attentive instructions for each room & accommodation. Affordable. I would definitely book again! Maybe when it’s warmer, too so we can use the lake access.

Staying at Mihirs was truly everything I was looking for. It’s a quaint lake house true to the pictures, in a peacefully quiet area, but is also less than 10 minutes from a main street with lots of restaurants and stores if you need anything! It is also about 45 minutes from Detroit that was almost all highway driving so that was convenient for me as well! The only thing that I didn’t expect is there was access to a kitchen with the amenities listed, but there were no plates/cups/silverware. That’s what the crossed out “kitchen” on the listing means I believe! Having this many awesome amenities at this price makes it 1000% worth the stay. Mihir was super helpful and responsive and his family were more than kind! Would highly recommend and hoping to visit again in the future!!

We had a night stay at Mihir’s place and it was as pleasant as we could have hoped for. The place was clean and cozy, beautiful lakefront room with a dedicated bathroom just outside of the room. Mihir was also prompt in his responses and accommodated our late night check ins. It was overall a pleasure to stay at his place. I only wish I had stayed longer to enjoy the hot tub and the beautiful view.
