High in the Koh Tao hills sits our unique accomodation with its own style – Villa on the Rocks. A large, modern, open-plan pool villa overlooking Shark Island & Aow Leuk Bay. Built into the rock & surrounded by jungle. Come here for privacy, nature, scenery & adventure. We will welcome you into our villa and make your holiday a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the help of our extensive island knowledge. We can offer you a luxury speed boat snorkeling trip or diving with a private instuctor. Villa on the Rocks come with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a 4-burner gas hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils. However, if you are one of those people that doesn't wish to do any cooking whilst you are on holiday there are numerous delivery menus provided so you can order from a large variety of different foods delivered to your door, from 06:30 to 22:00. We also provide tea, coffee, milk, sugar and drinking water free of charge. It is a 3-bedroomed villa that sleeps up to 6 people. Bedroom one and two both have king-size beds, and bedroom three’s bed is queen-size. Bedroom one is en-suite. With a large and uniquely tropical ground floor bathroom servicing bedrooms two and three. There is no need for air-conditioning but all the beds have dual wall mounted fans and stand-alone fans. The kitchen and all living spaces have wall/ceiling fans. Every room from kitchen to toilet have stunning sea views. Every 2 days our housekeeper will come up to clean the house and swimming pool, re-supply drinking water and remove rubbish. Every 4 days we will change bedding and towels. We supply all guests with bath towels, pool towels and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel.

what can i say about maddies place wow wow pristine she was very helpful from the get go we really enjoyed ourselves and if we come back to koh tao maddies place is top of are list as the morning we were leaving she had contractors in giving the whole place a revamp with the coveted ac lol although we were still comfortable with all the fans supplied this place exudes class thanks again maddie
Die Villa entspricht den Bildern und ist einfach wunderschön. Gereinigt wird alle zwei Tage. Maddie war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation verlief absolut unkompliziert. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit gehabt und besonders die Aussicht und den Pool genossen. Leichte Schwierigkeiten hatten wir bei der ersten Anfahrt zur Villa, da der direkte Weg nicht von Google Maps angezeigt wird. Die nötigen Informationen haben wir dann aber schnell von Maddie bekommen. Grundsätzlich sind die Geschäfte oder Bars fußläufig nicht schnell erreichbar. Daher empfehlen wir direkt einen Roller zu mieten, damit ist das ganze dann kein Problem mehr. Den einzigen Kritikpunkt sahen wir in der fehlenden Klimaanlage, die soll jetzt aber in den nächsten Wochen eingebaut werden. Wir würden diese Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.
A truly magical place! We had the best stay and Maddie was very helpful throughout. The views are breathtaking and the Villa beautiful. We would love to stay again especially as aircon is being installed. It will make the place even more perfect.
What an absolutely fantastic airbnb! The host are new owners and they did an absolutely great job in check in and out. The place is on top of the island with fantastic views of beaches. Would definitely stay again!

Villa on the Rocks has been built on to and into large granite boulders and is surrounded by tropical jungle. Our beautiful home was first built in 2006 and is refurbished annually.
The panoramic ocean views from the villa are breathtaking! The height and circular design gives a 270 degree vista allowing guests to lazily watch dive boats around Shark Island, snorkelers in Aow Leuk Bay and day-trippers on long-tail boats. Allowing guests to enjoy breakfast sunrises and cocktail sunsets. At night the view allows you to watch the lantern lights of the fishing boats stretching to the horizon.
As well as offering absolute privacy and serenity, Villa on the Rocks has all requirements for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This includes large swimming pool, WiFi and a smart TV.
Measuring approximately 400m2 there is plenty of living space to relax and chill. Including a large outdoor dining area, sun terraces and two indoor living spaces complete with large comfy sofas. There are three separate dining areas for dining privacy. Complimented by airy interiors with modern décor fitting neatly with the contemporary architecture.
Due to the elevated position of the property with its high ceilings, granite core structure, open-plan design and large windows there is an almost-constant breeze passing through which is perfect at keeping the villa cool and comfortable in the hottest of days. Or take a dip in the sky-pool to properly cool off.
We will pick you up from the pier upon check-in and arrange for you at check-out. Please let us know which boat company you are travelling to Koh Tao with, where you are coming from, and what time your boat is due to arrive so our taxi driver can be there to meet you at the pier.
The access road to the villa is a concrete road. It is easily reached by taxi, or scooter. As Koh Tao is such a small island (only 21 square km in size!) it never takes long to get to where you want to go.
Many people choose to get around Koh Tao by motorbike as it is the cheapest way to explore our beautiful island and gives you the freedom to go wherever you wish, whenever you wish to. If you wish to rent a bike, we can provide you with the number of a trustworthy rental shop,
Due to the position of the property, it is not suitable for the elderly or anybody with walking difficulties. We also wouldn’t recommend staying with small children.

Getting to Koh Tao gives me a peace and quite wonderfully relaxed feel. You can get anything on the island, full speed down on the town, quietly at home on the patio, wonderful beaches and amazing food!
