If you enjoy a private, secluded place in wooded hills with sounds of the nearby river and Whip-poor-wills then you'll enjoy staying here. The house is spacious and well equipped. Beds are comfortable, and the place is very clean The TV is huge with a great sound system. The drive from the paved highway is a little rough, but we found the trek worth it. We left extra carrots and celery in the fridge for the next guest to keep Riley well fed. She'll thank you with a soft "baa-baa".

Melissa could not have been more accomodating and responsive. Her place was beautiful and very private, which I especially loved. Her attention to detail, cleanliness and welcoming treats made for a wonderful stay. I will certainly be back in the future!

I loved this peaceful, lovely apartment in the countryside. The pygmy goat Ripley was a pleasant addition. The house was spotless with all the amenities you need to relax (kitchen fully stocked, TV with Roku, firepit with wood and comfy funriture - King size bed was great!). I was in Mill Spring for a dressage clinic and I definitely recommend this place to my horsey friends. 10 minutes to Tryon.

Melissa was a wonderful host. She was always very responsive. The house was perfect for us. It is private with a nice view. We have family that lives close by and will definitely be reserving with Melissa again.
