This is a family property, with our home being directly adjacent to the unit. It is a one-acre lot with a large lawn and banana trees around the property. Conveniently located at the bottom of Kaloko Drive, which is a few minutes from town and the Kona airport. The unit is connected to our house by our garage. It has its own entrance, which is accessed through the garage. Both our home, and the unit are a single-story building with no steps to climb. The space is very open and welcoming as you can see in the pictures. Our home is very close to the unit, so to help with privacy we have added a 5ʻ privacy barrier as seen in the exterior photos.

This was my first AirBnB and James made the experience easy and pleasant. I will definitely be using AirBnB again the future and will look to go with James again the next time I visit the Big Island. While I had no issues requiring response I have no doubt James would have been on top of it. He was proactive in communicating a family event at his home which was no issue for me what-so-ever. This space is up the hill and secluded, which did mean some night time animal noises (bugs and frogs from what I could gather) that I thought would keep me awake, but I actually slept better here than I usually do at home. Thanks James for a fantastic experience.

Such a blessing ! The hosts are super friendly and kind. Our whole family had a great time at their home. My daughter always love to making new friends and she played with their kids, and become her best memory. We recommend this place to our friends whoever plan to visit big island. Definitely our favorite place! Will come back next time!

The location of the Airbnb was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to all the attractions we wanted to explore. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, taking in the scenic surroundings and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of fantastic. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the memories we made during our stay. We can't wait to return!

Our home is located at the bottom of a subdivision, known as Kaloko. It does have a country feel with wild chickens and pheasants and pigs, sometimes coming near the home. It’s not unusual to hear chickens crowing in the morning and during the day. Coqui frogs and geckos will often sing you to sleep at night. Kaloko Drive is a busy road so always use caution when pulling out of the driveway and onto the main highway. As with any neighborhood, we have neighbors who work and play, so you may hear them during your stay.
We are a short 10 minute drive from town, the airport, and from some of the greatest beaches on this side of the island! Best way to get around and to see the island would be to get a rental car or utilize Turo.
