WOW! This place is magical. I came with some girlfriends for a weekend getaway, and we kept joking about how we never wanted to leave! Came in on a rainy Friday night, and was sung to sleep by the rain on the tin roof. Saturday, we spent the morning outside on the porch, and the afternoon by the fire pit, and made homemade pizza together in the kitchen for dinner. Liz was so responsive and kind. The home had everything we needed and more! We left feeling recharged and content.

I stayed here with a few friends that came into town and it was perfect. It was very easy to relax in and the property was beautiful.

This TRULY magical haven situated in an Arberetom was just the right amount of remote and easy to access. The house itself is extremely comfortable with all the usual up to date amenities, while maintaining the original 1830 feel.. believe that's when the first section that makes up the living room was built, much of the rest added in 1890... HUGE screened in porch that we couldn't take advantage of as the weather was not compliant, fire pit out back, numerous cozy areas inside and out , hammock, koi pond, and not another house in site. Himing, woods, and an wonderous array of woodland species , many tagged. With a huge kitchen, and a number of comfortable sleeping quarters that were private enough that the dog didn't hear the family's early riser puttering about meaning I could sleep in with him- so rare when we are with others.I know we will be back in another season, perhaps give each one a try...though spending Xmass here was like being in a Robert Frost Poem (without the snow)

Best family Thanksgiving ever! If you are looking for a large eclectic home with tons of space for family to sleep, dine, and mingle inside and out; this is for you! This is a vast property that hosts so many identified/tagged plants, shrubs, and trees that will impress. Tons of private walking and biking trails. We enjoyed the fire pit, coy fish pond, and well stocked kitchen during our Thanksgiving holiday. Liz was very respectful, responsive, and proactive about our questions. We intend to book for next Thanksgiving for sure.
