A wonderful peaceful setting and lovely lodging for our one night driving through the area! Things are still "under construction" on the grounds, but that didn't stop our kids from playing at the beach! Our dog loved the path & quick swim in the lake. The cabin was well done, functional, and great for the 4 of us! We also LOVED the Ember Station Woodfire Pizza restaurant...best we've had yet! Thank you to the hosts for sharing their property and dream with us and others. Best wishes on your endeavor!

Host was friendly and responsive. Place was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies for cleaning and cooking. Plenty of towels, washcloth, and toilet paper. Plenty of bed linens and throw blankets. WiFi worked well. Nice, well lit back porch with barbecue and fire pit. Woodstove is a nice touch. Wood bundles may be available for purchase at the front when you come in. About 15 minutes outside of Rensselaer, I do recommend this location.
