Oak Mead is situated and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's just outside the village of Rossett a stones throw from the city of Chester. There are great pubs and restaurants nearby. The Brook at Oak Mead. Welcome to The Brook. A handcrafted traditionally built Estonian Cabin. The Brook is surrounded by beautiful countryside near the village of Rossett - a stone’s throw from the City of Chester. The Brook is in the grounds of our family home, Oak Mead. Guests will have access to the cabin, with its own patio area with pleasant views. The Brook is a well equipped luxury eco cabin with everything you’ll need for a short trip away. It has a King size bed with a luxury mattress. Take time to unwind, relax on the sofa whilst taking in the countryside view, reading a book or watching a film on the Smart TV. There’s a compact stylish kitchen with a mini fridge, kettle, two ring hob and a ten cooking function mini oven which includes air-fryer, roast, grill and bake. You can enjoy your meal on the pull-out dining table or outside on the patio table. The Brook has a separate shower room fitted with a modern eco waterless incinerating toilet - (if you would like more information regarding this please feel free to contact us.) You can snuggle up in The Brook all year round, you’ll feel warm and cosy even on those freezing Winter nights - thanks to the underfloor heating throughout and the additional two electric wall heaters.

We had a great few days here! Lovely location and very clean and homely! Only downside was that the hut is less private than it appears from the listing - so the main house can look straight into the hut. But other than that it was great and Menna and Tom were very responsive to any questions/issues we had.
We had such a lovely long weekend here, without a doubt the nicest airbnb we have ever stayed in to date. Everything was pristine, from the bedding to the kitchenware - very well thought out with every plug point taking USB, The perfect window placement for the view and logs for a fire in the evening (and some little arrival treats, teabags & milk that was very much appreciated!). Thought the bed was incredibly comfy and easy to get hot water for showers/at the sink. Toilet was very cool (have been telling everyone about it 😂) Possibly could do with some blackout curtains or curtains that cover the whole window as was quite bright in the early mornings would be my only feedback! We are getting married in the local area this summer and needed somewhere last minute to stay in order to visit the venue and this was perfect in every way. Loved Spruce our horse neighbour too! Overall I couldn’t speak more highly of this lovely cabin, 10/10 from all aspects! Thank you.

Lovely little hut with plenty of sunlight in the countryside, perfect for a getaway. Bed was extremely soft and comfortable, managed to fall asleep with no problems even though I have insomnia. There was a cute horse at the stable which was very friendly.
We loved our stay! The cabin was lovely and cosy and the area is so beautiful. Loved waking up to all the birds in the morning.
