The Lodge is situated on the outskirts of the village of Babcary in rural Somerset . Within walking distance of the Red Lion pub, and located on various footpaths and cycle routes, its an ideal location to explore the countryside. Located close to the A303 and Castle Cary train station, an ideal base for further exploration to the south coast , north Devon, and popular Somerset tourist destinations. The Lodge has parking for two vehicles and an enclosed garden area with raised decking .

Gorgeous property. We stayed for a wedding nearby and Furrow Lodge had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and beautiful setting. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area!! Highly recommend!
Beautiful accommodation in a very rural and quiet setting. Extremely well equipped with real quality fixtures fittings and furnishings throughout. Fabulous.
Spent three nights in total comfort and tranquility in this wonderful property with my wife and two children (9 and 12 years of age). Everything is just so well thought out in this place. The beautiful kitchen diner was very well appointed. Nespresso machine with complimentary pods were a lovely touch. The bathroom was luxurious. And the wifi speeds were great. Martin was the perfect host and made every effort to ensure that we felt at home as soon as we set foot in the lodge. Book this place - you won't regret it.

The Ridge and Furrow lodge gets its name from the historical ridge and furrow field system that the property is built on . These are thought to date back to medieval times and are still evident on the surrounding land.
Private allocated parking on site . Castle Cary train station is only 7 miles away which gives opportunity to travel to Weymouth on the south coast , or explore Bristol and Bath. Perfect location for fantastic walks and cycling with footpaths and cycle routes on the doorstep.
