A sparkling and spacious - min.2 night stay (1night add $50.00 ). LakeView. Ground level of home is all yours (owners live on 2nd level). Outside your Private Entrance, park your snowmobile, marked trail within sight. Use our boat dock. Walking trails, skate, fish, swings, lake toys, kayak. Restaurants a 12 min drive. Fire pit, Kids’ toys 2-10yrs-tell us when booked. Micro, apt size fridge/freezer, dishes, utensils, barbecue, coffee maker, hairdryer, towels, bedding, guest controlled heating. Spacious, clean, quiet. Rooms are guest heat controlled. Bathroom has in floor heating with thermostat. Kids enjoy sleeping in the living space on the modular sectional couch which can be easily moved around to accommodate guests’ needs. BlueRay DVD player is ready for movies.

My stay in Eganville was absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The host, Katherine and her husband Peter, went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I have in ages. I loved waking up to the stunning views of Mink Lake. The location was perfect, right on the lake, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything Eganville has to offer. One of the highlights of my stay was chatting with Katherine. We had so much in common and I feel like our family has now made a new lifelong friend. It truly made my trip unforgettable. I cannot recommend "Peace On Earth" highly enough. Thank you, Katherine, for your amazing hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with my family. I can't wait for our next visit.
The Location: The location was beautiful - lakefront, big yard w/ swings, campfire area & cottage chairs. It was 15/30 mins from Eganville/ Pembroke where you can find amenities like restos, gas, grocery stores & etc. The Cottage: The cottage was newly renovated, clean & spacious w/ two generous size bedrooms w/ very comfortable beds/pillows The washroom was also large w/ heated floors & double sink. The dining room had a big table, prep station, plates/utensils, microwave, coffee maker, fridge & etc. A brand new grill was also available for cooking. The living room boasts a huge, comfortable modular couch & the sliding glass doors highlighting the beautiful backyard & lake. The Hosts: Kath & Peter were some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They went above & beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay & treated us like family. Kath & Peter, again thank you so much for being so hospitable, generous and kind to us. We look forward to staying with you again!

Quiet wooded. Spring has maple syrup dripping in the woods. May the trillium flowers bloom, summer is swimming in warm clear water off the dock, fall the forest is ablaze with colour, winter is ice fishing and snodrifters club have the trail next to this property.

Peter is a retired teacher: I am a registered nurse. We moved from Manitoba 4 yrs ago to our large beautiful resort like home. We’re proud grandparents of an 8 and 9yr old who live nearby and have a kid friendly property and house. I love to garden butterfly flowers and veges. Peter likes to putter outside and help neighbours. Requests from family and neighbours to host have led us to try AirBnB. We share our kayaks, water slides, snow toys etc
