Newly renovated and cozy studio apartment in a quiet neighborhood in the northern part of Akureyri. Private enterance and parking. Well equipped kitchen: Small oven, portable cooktop, microwave, fridge and freezer. Small tv +apple tv. It's possible to have your host wash clothes in stays that are longer then one week. Space to sleep in: One 160 cm bed, sofa and toddler travel bed. Only 20 minutes walk down town, 1 km to the nearest supermarket. A bakery is 100 meters away. The apartment is on the ground floor (basement) and the host live on the top floor so there its easy to get help if needed!

Our stay at Jón place was perfect! The apartment was very clean, cozy, easy to find and had everything we needed! Communicating before and during our stay was smooth with our host being very responsive! Overall, great experience!

Akureyri has free buses that drive from early in the morning until late afternoon. The town is not big so in most cases what you want to see is within walking distance.
