This cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Newlyn, It has retained many of its original features. Previously used as a pilchard press, The cottage has history and charm. Situated on the harbour front it boasts incredible views which span across Newlyn harbour, Mounts bay and st Michaels mount. Very cosy, terraced granite cottage situated on the seafront with magnificent views over the picturesque harbour of Newlyn and spectacular Mounts Bay. The holiday cottage is Grade II listed, has a romantic setting and retains many original features including beamed ceilings and wooden curved stairs. There is an enclosed cobbled courtyard to the rear, with an outdoor garden room perfect for outdoor dining. The cottage is in a great location for some of the best restaurants in west cornwall all within walking distance. These include fabulous seafood restaurants, gastro pubs and the best fish and chip shop. Penzance, the Newlyn Art Gallery and Mousehole are close by, all within walking distance. Local bus stop is 20 yards from the cottage, with buses running very regularly (every 20 minutes) to both mousehole and Penzance. E bikes pick up point is 10 yards from the front door, with a flat promenade cycle path going to both mousehole and marazion (via Penzance) Shops 400 yards, pubs 50 yards, restaurant 100 yards.

We really liked this little cottage. It had all the essentials and a very comfortable bed and lovely furniture.
This is a beautiful cosy cottage with a real historical feel yet also has modern amenities. The sea view is incredible. I can't wait to come back and stay here again. Thank you!
We were on a week long campervan trip that started off with a few rainy days, so we booked Rosie’s cottage last minute for 3 nights and boy was it worth it! It was exactly what we were after: a cute and comfortable cottage right by the harbour, with parking, restaurants nearby, smart TV and good WiFi, short drive to many beautiful spots. Rosie messaged us with a long list of local recommendations as well. We will definitely return next year!

Charming fisherman’s cottage opposite the old harbour. Quirky & comfortable, would without a doubt choose to stay here again. Kitchen was well equipped, bed linen and towels were all nice ( all important to us). Loved a relax in the freestanding bath after a hectic day sightseeing. Easy travelling distance to get the ferry to the Scilly islands and most places in this area of Cornwall. Rosie the host was excellent at communicating and gave us loads of useful information. Thank you for a lovely stay

Newlyn is a cool, vibrant, working town nestled with pubs , fantastic seafood restaurants, art Galleries, a very stylish independent cinema and much more.
The cottage is in a perfect location to leave your car and Walk to both neighbouring towns Penzance and Mousehole. Along the way are wonderful swimming spots nestled up the coast, great for fishing and seal spotting.
There is plenty free parking on the roads very near the cottage.
However if you would like to pop your car in a car park, The cottage is situated in between two car parks.
St Peter’s Hill Newlyn is 50 yards from the cottage where you can pay £6 for £24 hours. Or £15 weekly.
Sandy cove is the other car park (very large) 120 yards from the cottage - £8 per 24 hours or £20 per week. Both payable by app or machine.
