Foggy Meadow Farmhouse (F.K.A. Misty Meadow Cottage) is tucked down a private wooded lane just 7 min from historic downtown Grass Valley and 10 min from Nevada City. Nestled on a hillside, our home overlooks a meadow lined with evergreens and a sprinkle of deciduous trees. It’s the perfect setting for watching wildlife & stargazing. The updated 1200sqft is decorated in a modern farmhouse style which is fitting—a hundred years ago it was a dairy farm and two barns stand near the main house. Enjoy the cozy modern farmhouse style and the bright, open floor plan of our recently updated guesthouse which was added to our property in the 1990’s. The cottage can accommodate up to six guests. Each of the two bedrooms has a memory foam mattress with all new linens and extra blankets. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower, towels, shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer. The guest bathroom has a tub with shower, towels, shampoo, and soap. In the large living room the sofa folds out into a queen size bed. There is a flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, Netflix, and Disney Plus. Cooking essentials are available in a fully equipped kitchen with open cabinetry. Included amenities are an electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and other basic utensils. Outside, relax on the shaded front patio. Listen to the songbirds and the sounds of the wind rustle the Cottonwood’s leaves. Step onto the back deck to catch the early morning mist on the meadow or watch as deer munch on vegetation. During autumn, gather grapes in the front yard or pick apples. You may even pluck a pear from the old tree next to the deck.
