We had a lovely stay! We lived in Oakland for many years, nice to come and visit! The house is great w off street parking and an inviting patio perfect for morning coffee. 2 bedrooms were nice. Easy walk to Grand Ave’s shopping district and I always walk Lake Merritt. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We had a great stay for two nights in Berkley. There was more street parking than expected, along with a driveway parking spot. The hosts were very responsive to our messages, as we had a guest with us in a wheelchair, and needed access to the driveway and our hosts helped us figure that out. The street and area itself is known for broken car windows and car theft - so one trick is to leave nothing in your car and the windows down, doors unlocked. This worked for us, and nothing was broken or stolen. Though that is a concern, the neighborhood is very nice, lots of people walking dogs and their kiddos, and beautiful greenery and plants.
