The house provides its guests with lovely rooms, beautiful decor and furniture, and plenty of space where the family can get together and enjoy the holidays. Outside, you can relax gazing over the dunes and leymus and enjoy two terraces, one partially covered, and super comfortable garden furniture as well as a barbecue. The holiday home is a one level 85 m2 cottage. The large kitchen-dining room is the hearth of the house. The beautiful space can be extended when you open the beautiful glass walls and patio doors to the north-facing terrace. Fine kitchen with all modern facilities and a large dining table with great space to enjoy dinners or board games. The sofa corner has a nice, large sofa bed, armchairs and TV and a wonderful wood burning stove. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is equipped with a washing machine. Master bedroom with bathroom en suite and direct access to terrace. The two other bedrooms also have patio doors. From here you can enjoy the view to grass, leymus and the morning sun on the east-facing side of the house. A stay in this cottage will give you a stay in a “real cottage”, delicious decor with good attention to detail and beautiful surroundings close to dunes, beach and sea. From the cottage's terrace you can hear the sound of the sea, and from the top of the dune in front of the house you have a clear view of the North Sea waves. There are a few 150 meters to the sea so you have ample opportunity to incorporate a morning swim. The surroundings lend themselves to pleasant walks, dips in the cool and fresh sea water and sunbathing in the beautiful white sand. And home from the beach, sandy and tired, sit down on the large terrace with a glass of cool white wine and enjoy the evening's coming with the sunset right in front of you. PETS: Pets not allowed. PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA: A short walk from the holiday home you will find the old “sømærke” (buoy) in Gl. Skagen. From the top of the hill with the buoy you will find a fantastic view of Gl. Skagen and the city's rooftops. Continue the trip to the Natural History Museum, which today is housed in the former Højen Station. From here, take the trip to Den Tilsandede Kirke (the Sanded Church), with the exciting story of past sand drifts in the area. For more follow the old church path which takes you past Kystmuseet (the Coastal Museum) and Klitgården Refugium (in everyday speech Kongevillaen, former summer residence of King Chr. X and Queen Alexandrine). On to the Marina in Skagen by the old Bindesbøll fish warehouses, where i.a. the restaurants Skagen Fiskerestaurant and Restaurant Pakhuset (seafood restaurants) today are housed.
