The holiday home has a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so even if you are a large group, no one has to queue up for a bath. Lovely bathrooms, both with shower – and both with overhead and handheld showers. The kitchen-dining room is the heart of the house, where the large dining table almost invites to family dinners, a good glass of wine while the chef works and later in the evening board games. Wall-mounted TV as well as a large, lovely corner sofa and beautiful kitchen niche with all modern facilities complete the room. From the kitchen-dining room you have access to both terraces. You will find the sleeping area on the 1st floor of the house. A total of three beautiful bedrooms and a guest room with a sofa bed. Master bedroom with large double bed and bathroom en suite as well as a wonderful view of the beach. The second bedroom is also furnished with a double bed and the third room with two single beds. The guest room has a sofa bed and a TV. The door to the guest room is a sliding door. Opposite the bathroom on the ground floor you will find the utility room with both washing machine and dryer as well as the technical room. Lovely holiday home where you immediately feel at home. When you come home tired after the day's experiences, there is plenty of opportunity to relax on one of the terraces, light up the grill and enjoy the evening's coming in the company of a good steak and a nice glass of wine. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Frederikshavnsvej Station (step board) 2.3 km from the holiday home. PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA: A trip to GRENEN, Denmark's outermost tip, where the two seas Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, should be a given on your holiday bucket list. Park the car in the parking lot and walk the last 750 meters or take Sandormen (tractor with closed wagon). The tractor is available during summer. For those of you who prefer getting around by foot the trip can be done along the beach from the house – app. 8.5 - 9 km. Gl. Skagen with Solnedgangspladsen (the sunset square), where locals and guests meet every night to soak up the sun, can also be recommended. From Solnedgangspladsen you can admire the most beautiful sunsets while eating an ice cream, or enjoying a glass of wine, which can be bought at the Sunset Kiosk. Also take a trip up the old Sømærke (the old buoy), which towers on the high dune behind Ruths Hotel. From the top you have a beautiful view of the rooftops in Gl. Skagen and a good view towards Skagen center. Also set a side a day for shopping and exploring Skagen's large selection of retail shops, cafés and restaurants. Spend a few days visiting the different museums: Skagen's Museum, Anchers Hus, Drachmanns Hus, Kystmuseet, Skagen Odde Naturcenter, Det Grå Fyr (the Grey Lighthouse), Center for Migratory Birds and Natural History Museum. In doing so you can learn a lot about the great Skagen painters, see the famous paintings and visit where they lived. And you can learn more about nature, bird life, Skagen Odde and get the exciting story of the sand drift.
