The pedestrian street and the harbor area with the large selection of retail shops and artisans with exciting shops. Lots of cafés and restaurants as well as Skagen Bryghus (brewery), where a locally brewed Skagen beer is to be enjoyed. Within a radius of 1 km from the holiday home you will also find Skagens Museum, Anchers Hus and Drachmanns Hus, where you can learn more about the great Skagen painters and admire the famous works. From the balcony of the holiday home you have a view of the large cruise ships when they dock at Skagen Harbor, and if you are up early, a visit to the auction hall (Skagen Fish Auction) at the harbor is also recommended. A trip to Grenen, Denmark's outermost tip, where the seas Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, should also be checked on your holiday schedule. On the way out to Grenen you will pass Det Grå Fyr (lighthouse), Center for Trækfugle (center for migratory birds), where you can learn more about the many migratory birds that pass the top of Denmark every year. From the top of the lighthouse you have a fantastic view of the nature on Grenen and over the city's roofs. Grenen can be easily reached by bike or on foot. You will have approx. 4.5 km from the holiday home to the large car park on Grenen. From here you can choose to ride with Sandormen (tractor with a wagon) the last part of the way to the tip of Jutland.
