Our condo is located in the picturesque town of Shanty Bay, Ontario, Canada, which is known for its charming small-town feel and stunning natural scenery. The town is situated on the banks of Lake Simcoe, one of the largest lakes in southern Ontario, which offers plenty of recreational activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing.
There are many nearby attractions that you can explore during your stay at our condo. For instance:
1. Horseshoe Resort, a popular ski and golf resort, is located just 6 minutes away by car. In the winter months, you can hit the slopes, and in the summer months, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and golfing.
2. The Simcoe County Museum is located just 18 minutes away and showcases the history and culture of the region through interactive exhibits, galleries, and outdoor displays.
3. Kempenfelt Bay is only 22 minutes away by car, where you can go for a scenic walk along the lakefront, rent a paddleboard, or take a boat tour.
4. Downtown Barrie is only a 23-minute drive away from our condo, where you can enjoy a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The Barrie Farmers' Market is a must-visit, which is open on Saturdays year-round and offers local produce, baked goods, and crafts.
