Enjoy life at Willow Mill, a 74 year old renovated Mill Home, loaded w/ charm & surrounded by Willow Oaks. Located in the heart of historic Fort Mill w/ greenway access across the street. One of the most popular AirBnBs in Fort Mill w/ 113 reviews & a 4.97 rating at time of transfer to new local hosts, John & Cat. A refreshed home w/ Boho inspired interior, new paint, gallery-worthy art & gathering spaces inside/out. Guests will receive a signed art print from Cat (@Katniss_704 #catfrancisart). We invite you to enjoy all the wonderful spaces we have created. From the beautifully remodeled kitchen and bath to the shiplap walls/ceilings throughout, this home offers many modern updates while still keeping the character older homes possess, like the original coal burning fireplace (obviously no longer working but a historical throwback nonetheless). Most everything is new as of April '24 - bedding, pillows, pots/pans, silverware, paint, bath towels...plus, guests will be provided with YouTube TV for live TV, sports, etc. We have two pillows for each guest (depending on your preference for softness). The proximity of our home to multiple hot spots in Fort Mill can't be beat! Take a look at the Willow Mill Guide to see all of our favorites while you're in town. The Catawba River and the River Walk entertainment area is very close. It's the perfect spot to have as a home base before walking over to the annual Strawberry Festival, enjoying the breweries in town, or a concert at the new amphitheater in Walter Elisha Park. In fact, a pathway starts across from the Willow Mill that you can walk or ride through the trees all the way to the park. For sports tournaments, the property is close to Winthrop University (7-miles or 14-minutes) and other complexes. Or, shoot downtown Charlotte in about 25 minutes for Panthers, Knights, and Charlotte FC games or concerts at Spectrum Center or Fillmore at the NC Music Factory. When you return, enjoy each other's company on the back deck, the newly constructed fire pit space, the front porch that looks upon the greenway, or around the expansive kitchen island. After a long day everyone can retire to their own king-sized bed (there are 4 King beds!) for a comfortable and cozy night's sleep. Select your vibe in 1 of 3 cozy rooms designed to create a feeling of calm (what's your vibe: black, green or pink?). We do supply YouTube TV, the premium version of YouTube, for live TV or for accessing your favorite shows on 2 televisions (50" in living room, 40" in bedroom with 2 Kings). Even your fur baby can enjoy themselves in the fully-fenced in backyard. As of April 24, we installed a new 6 foot tall fence in to bring our guests even more privacy and serenity and have plans to create somewhat of a magical garden this summer. This is a pet-friendly home and requires an additional fee of $125 to stay in the property. We have dog-bags, a water bowl, and a food bowl for your dog. There is a $20 per guest per night additional fee for groups over 6 people. Per city and insurance guidelines, we are required to request the full names and rough ages of all the guests staying at the property.
