BlueView 15A is a tropical paradise perched atop a cliff overlooking the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. You can go right out the front door and step into the beautiful sea to swim, snorkel, dive, and relax! You will love the superb panoramic view of the ocean and the lush greenery of the landscape. This is an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility and nature all-around! Some of the most spectacular beaches in Curacao are within walking distance or just a few minute's drive. Our home sits about 25 paces away from the water, with easy access to great swimming, snorkeling, and diving from the steps carved into the coral formation cliff right outside our front door. For the scuba diver, our pristine house reef is just 25 meters offshore directly in front of the resort. The top rated PADI Sublime Dive Shop is right outside of our back door, too! The water is always calm and crystal clear, with an average temperature of 82 F/28 C, making for some unforgettable underwater experiences any time of the year. There are dunk tanks and plenty of space to hang/dry your gear. We are avid divers ourselves, and have found this to be one of the best places in the world for thriving reefs and stunning shore dives. Our oceanfront home in the Marazul Dive Resort is a two level unit, nestled between emerald hills and turquoise sea. Enjoy lots of privacy and quiet as our home is the very last one in a row of units facing the ocean - there are no immediate neighbours on one side. Our house is fully furnished and air-conditioned, with all the comfort and amenities needed for a relaxing holiday. Expect tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy Willemsted. Our place is all about rest and relaxation in an amazing natural setting! Things to note: - Marazul Dive Resort is a safe, quiet, gated community - There is an on-site manager, Rene, who is a wonderful help - There is coin operated washer/dryer at the resort but we like to use the community drying clothesline. You can get coins at the front desk - There are iguanas, stray dogs, ants, and mosquitoes on Curaçao - There is a button in the kitchen for the hot water heater. You must turn it on to activate the hot water. We put a reminder in the Welcome book, too The village of Westpunt is 35 minutes/ 35 km from the airport and 40 minutes the capital city of Willemstad. Far from the crowds, our part of the island is peaceful and serene with none of the usual trappings of tourism. The surrounding national park is unspoiled wilderness at its best with amazing hikes and summits, and being outside of the hurricane belt, the climate is a balmy 86 F/31 C year-round. The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk, while even more spectacular stretches of sand are a short 10 minute drive away We have both lived and travelled in many parts of the world, yet we consider ourselves lucky to have found this little piece of paradise Curacao.
