This beautiful ground floor private guest unit with ocean views is located across the street from the Caspar Headland trail, 5 minute walk to Caspar Beach and store, with sand to stroll along, swim or surf, and 5 minute drive or 15 min walk to the Point Carbrillo Light House. The 625 sq ft unit is part of a larger home with a private entrance, easy same level access from your parked car through unit to the private courtyard and fire pit. Windows look out into the fenced garden and ocean beyond. The Garden Room sits within the garden and has beautiful views of both the garden and the ocean beyond the fence. The room's windows are aligned with the fence glass to maximize the views. The private all-one-level entrance gives guests easy access from your car through to the suite. This unit is warm and bright even on rainy days. The clean modern new construction paired with antiques and one of a kind art and collectables gives this suite a unique charm. Heron House is a large L-shaped house with guest suites at each end of the ground floor with shared garden in between. Both units can be booked together for groups up to 4 people.

We've stayed at 17 AirBnB, and this one is definitely my favorite. The location was amazing. As we drove up to the neighborhood there were 2 deers grazing at the entrance. When we walked inside the AirBnB and saw the views of the ocean and we were mesmerized by our view. The garden room was perfect for our 2 night stay. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the thermostat fireplace made it so cozy. The bathroom was very spacious and the towels very fluffy. The 5 min walk to the cliffs and the views was definitely a cherry on top. I would definitely stay here again if we were to visit the area again.
We had a lovely stay at Kerry's. The garden and views are absolutely stunning. We were only there a short while so this location was perfect. We had easy access to go view the lighthouse, go see where Same Time Last Year was filmed:), and go to the quaint town of Mendocino. We especially enjoyed the Mendocino Botanical Gardens...it is like no other. We would love to stay at Kerry's again. It was lovely.
Kerry was great! Loved coming back to Caspar and enjoying the beautiful Mendocino coastline. Easy to get anywhere very quickly. Loved the fire pit, too!
Kerry’s Garden Room was a perfect getaway! The accommodations were clean and cozy, and we especially loved the garden with the fireplace, and view of the ocean. Kerry was kind enough to offer some starter items like coffee and half & half in the fridge…and even offered a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The cliffs were just a short walk away which made for peaceful ocean sounds throughout the day. Grateful for the lovely stay!
Kerry’s place was a perfect place for a short break. The location between Mendocino and Fort Bragg was convenient, the setting peaceful and quiet, and the living space newly renovated, thoughtfully laid out, super-clean and comfortable. It was easy communicating with Kerry, and she gave me some good tips about the area. When I hadn’t realized the kitchenette lacked a stovetop, she lent me a hot plate and pans, which was perfect for my needs, combined with the microwave. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom palatial with a great shower, and the private garden in the back with its own deck was lovely to sit out on to watch the local deer wandering by at sunset! There is even a gas-powered fire pit. I recommend the Garden Room for anyone who wants to be out of town, yet close enough to access activities easily. I had a wonderful time there!
