Looking for a farmhouse feel on the coast? Need accommodation for a large group? The Ranch is located close to Newcastle airport, 15 minutes to the beach & 6 mins to Murray's Craft Brewery Co. The Ranch consists of five large bedrooms, open plan living, situated on 25 acres. With a updated fire pit area where guest can sit back & toast marshmallows under the stars. With a coastal farmhouse feel we are able to accommodate large families and social gatherings, catering for up to 14 people. The rooms at The Ranch are a generous size. Bedroom 1 - King bed Bedroom 2 - Two double beds Bedroom 3 - Queen bed Bedroom 4 - Queen bed Bedroom 5 - Queen with single bunk beds We are able to add portable beds to accommodate children or single guest.

Great space, would stay again .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ranch. It is a great space for families, there is loads of space inside and out we all felt together without being on-top of each other! Fiona was an excellent host and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The house was clean and everything was easy to access and use. Thanks for having us.
Fiona was really helpful and friendly, the place was lovely, had large living areas, perfect for bigger groups, lots of space for everyone to spread around. The surrounding property was vast, giving plenty of privacy and we didn’t need to worry about the kids being noisy & disturbing any neighbours. We were greeted with some yummy cupcakes in the fridge on arrival which was a nice surprise and Fiona kindly allowed us early checkin and late checkout which was extremely helpful with a larger group with kids.

For the adventurous
Quad Bike King, Go Carting, Toboggan Hill Park, and Sahara Trails close by providing thrills and adventures for all ages. There are so many hiking/mountain bike tracks to explore or take the opportunity to go forward driving along Buribi Beach. Beach passes can be purchased at the local service station.
For the Golfers
Have some friendly competition at the nearby golf courses. Horizon located in Salamander Bay or Nelson Bay Golf Course. Grab a meal and a cold drink after your match.
For families
We recommend Oakvale Farm, The Shark & Ray Center or Tobboggan Hill Park, these are sure to put a smile on your little ones face. If you are looking for beach days, you have plenty to choose from. Fingal Bay and Shoal Bay are great for young families. If you are looking for surfing, head to One Mile and Buirubi.
Exploring nature and wildlife
Tomaree mountain towers over the Bay with a magnificent view of the seas below. The walk up is worth it. For military enthusiasts there are gun emplacements dating back to WWII. There is a 27 km coastal walk that takes you through the national park with opportunities to swim along the way.
Looking for dinner & drinks
Head to Murrays Brewing, Valhalla, Sunset & Vine only minutes away. At Soldiers Point we have the Barking Dog or the Country Club at Shoal Bay. If you head into Nelson Bay there are several restaurants and clubs to choose from. Have a walk along the Marina before heading home.
Good to know
A short 6-minute drive to Newcastle Airport and 30 minutes to Newcastle CBD.
There is plenty of space to park on the property.
We would recommend having access to a car, however there is a bus stop located on Nelson Bay Rd only meters from the house.
