Cheryl's place is a quirky AirBNB offering. It looks and feels more like house sitting, such are the plethora of items available in the house. A true home away from home, as if we had just stepped in to mind the place while the owners were away for a few days. The house is huge, with an extremely well stocked and equipped kitchen for a place in this price bracket. Beds were comfortable with two large bedrooms to choose from (each with its own split air) and a smaller bedroom off the main lounge (which has its own separate split air). Only downside is that there is only one bathroom and the shower could do with some work, although it served well all the while we were there. There also appears to be no laundry available. Cheryls Place represents excellent value for the size, location and amenity offered and we would be happy to stay again.

Great stay, couldn't recommend more. Cheryl is a lovely host, very accomodating and easy going. Loved the space really felt like home.

Although Cheryl was a great host and very responsive the photos on the site do not accurately reflect the dilapidated state of this property. There were piles of junk lying everywhere, dirty stained bathroom, mouldy grout, cracked mirror, wobbly taps. There was a strong smell of musty mould which was unpleasant. Appliances such as aircon in the bedroom did not work at all. There was only one bathroom with a stained toilet. The post said there were 2 bathrooms. The good points about the property were that there was hot water, comfortable bed with electric blanket and close location to town. It was very poor condition and poor value. I paid $768.27 for 3 nights. I do not recommend this place.

Great location for Murwillumbah- close to everything as well as picturesque location on the river. Eclectic decor that made it fun and interesting. Our host was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend!
