Incredible homestay, I came primarily for the diving and was astounded about the amazing reefs around Rakiraki. Jioji and his wife were incredible hosts and enveloped us in village life, offering alternative activities such as snorkeling, hiking, and oppertunities to go visit Islands. Alisi is an incredible chef, would highly reccomend her cooking! Room was large, comfortable and private! As an enthused beginner diver, I was lucky enough to do two incredible coral dives as well as a sunset and night dive alongside a highly experienced dive master as dive buddy. Very much appreciate that Jioji was ableto organise the opportunity for a night dive upon request, all three home stays had heaps of fun, and it is absolutely something I will fondly remember! Would absolutely come again, and highly recommend this dive shop to both support local businesses, their skill in managing divers of varied skills, and the quality of the reefs (world quality coral, numerous sites, even wrecks)

This is my second time staying with Jioji, and I certainly hope it won’t be my last. The room is tidy, the food prepared for guests is perfect and the diving operation run by Jioji and his family gives you access to beautiful and uncrowded reefs with great guidance. Finally the hosting was so good and Jioji and his family make you feel so welcome. 5 stars is not enough!

Our stay with Jioji and Alisi was fantastic. We hired a car from Suva and followed Google maps and Jioji’s Airbnb directions were easy. A very warm welcome and greeting and meet the village chief. We were sharing their family household and the bedroom was big, clean with air conditioning, fan and large comfortable bed. Alisi's dinner cooking was delicious and healthy. Breakfasts of fruit, pancakes and muffins - lovely! The snorkeling did was excellent. Georgie took us out on his boat, and we stopped at a shallow sandy beach on a small island to get used to the snorkels and then we went around the island to another location. Beautiful coral Gardens and fish. My wife is a beginner swimmer, so Jioji helped guide her around, which was so nice. Great experience! We had fantastic fun at night with Kava and music sing-alongs. The chief was great fun to sing with. The area is very friendly and safe. We felt so at home and relaxed there. Thank you so much for having us. David and Maggie.

Amazing homestay! A lovely charismatic couple who welcome you into their home. A lovely house and home cooked Fijian meals. We were taken out on an amazing day trip on their boat to snorkel, catch and cook fish to bbq on a nearby island - fantastic day with their family! A lovely authentic Fijian experience and a lovely introduction to kava!

Jioji and Alisi welcomed us into their home and we felt like part of the family. We were able to book everything we needed with Jioji to include airport transportation and meals. They made our short stopover in Fiji an unforgettable experience and have made us want to return. They took us out for a day of snorkeling and fishing with lunch at a secluded beach and it was magical. Kava with the chief, watching rugby with the family, celebrating a child's birthday... just a few of the moments that made our stay special. If you want a truly Fijian experience, ditch the resorts and stay here. Do yourself a favor and add on the homecooked meals, you won't be disappointed.
